Page Impression
When a browser searches and gets a return hit on a keyword or phrase that matches one of your active and funded key word or phrase campaigns there is a "cost per impression" charge to your account for the return hit or "page impression". You set the "cost per impression" (CPM) charge you want to pay for each keyword or phrase.

Click Through
When the browser clicks your Header or Title there is a "cost per click" charge to your account . You set the "cost per click" (CPC) charge you want to pay for each keyword or phrase.

The combination "cost per impression" (CPM) and "cost per click" (CPC) determines the Top-Search ad position.

How funds are handled for Top-Search users
Payment can be by check, online check, wire or Bank of America direct deposit or EFT. To make sure your Top-Search account gets credited promptly and properly, always use our payment form for a wire transaction, Bank of America direct deposit or EFT. Reason:

You certainly want us to know who your payment came "FROM". Bank of America does not tell us "WHO" the deposit or wire came from. By you notifying us of your unique amount, we can better know WHO paid us. We can then properly credit your account. Example: If you send $250.12 and tell us on our online payment form that you are sending $250.12 - - - with great certainty we know the $250.12 that shows up in our account will be YOUR payment.

Use of the payment form is not necessary when paying by check.

After your Top-Search search account is funded or credited, we debit or withdraw advertising fees on a real time basis. As administrator of your Top-Search campaigns you start, stop, activate or deactivate each campaign or the entire program. You can change the "cost per click" for each campaign anytime. Because you administer your Top- Search account and control how and when your funds are spent, here are no refunds of spend funds. Debits are fully earned.

When your account balance gets low you will receive an automatic email advising that your Top-Search account needs a deposit. When the account balance reaches zero, your Top-Search campaigns are stopped. If your membership expires, your Top-Search campaigns are stopped. 

We credit your Top-Search account and it is debited automatically by Top-Search hit activity on your keywords or phrases and page impressions and click throughs (clicks).
